The 17th Annual Conference of HKSTAM 2013 in conjunction with the 9th Jiangsu-Hong Kong Forum on Mechanics and Its Application and the 3rd Symposium on the Development of Mechanics in Macau will be held during March 22-23, 2013 in City University of Hong Kong and University of Macau. This conference is co-organized by the Hong Kong Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (HKSTAM), the Jiangsu Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (JSTAM), City University of Hong Kong and University of Macau. The conference topics cover mechanics and its application in all science and engineering disciplines.
The conference includes two sessions: half-day session in Hong Kong on 22 March and a full day session in Macau on 23 March. The technical sessions will include four invited distinguished lectures (plenary lectures on solids and fluids, 40 minutes for each lecture) and parallel sessions (in parallel sessions, 15 minutes for each talk). The due date of submitting one A4-page extended abstract in MS word file to Dr. Paul LAM, the Secretary of HKSTAM, is February 22, 2013. The abstract must include title, authors, affiliations and email address. Please download the abstract template for preparing your submission.
Pre-registration with the registration form is required. Please send the extended abstract and the completed registration form to Dr. Paul LAM at paullam@cityu.edu.hk.
